Everyone starts off with the intro class. We do this so we can teach you in a one on one setting all the basics of Muay Thai before starting the group classes. In the intro class you will learn how to Punch, elbow, knee, kick, clinch, foot work and how to block from your legs up to your head. This way when you join the group classes you will not feel like you are slowing down the class and you will be more confident. Plus it will be safer for all the students. You do not have to be a member to do the intro class. Please call or stop by to schedule one.
Muay Thai is a form of fighting that originated in Thailand and dates back hundreds of years. It is called the Art of Eight Limbs because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows, and knee strikes. This is one of the most used martial arts in MMA Competition. We used the Master Toddy Muay Thai system and we teach using a curriculum recognized by the Thai Government. You will always be learning new technique and drills at each level. We used a series of test to see if you have been learning. Once you past the test you will move on to new drills and techniques.
Take down a bigger assailant with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a martial arts combat sport and self-defense system that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. It promotes the principle that someone smaller can successfully defend himself against someone larger by using leverage and proper techniques.
Mixed Martial Arts
Become a winner in martial arts competition with the right training from our school. We offer mixed martial arts, which is a full contact combat sport that allows a wide variety of fighting techniques and skills for use in competition.
You don’t have to be a martial arts competitor to be in shape like one. Master Toddy offers conditioning classes for anyone who wants to build endurance. You become fit, toned, and stronger with our training that helps you burn up to 800 calories per session. We have different conditioning class through out the week. Monday Tuesday are usually easier then other days because we want you to ease in to it after the week end. We want to see you come back through out the week. In our conditioning class you will learn how to use the heavy bag the way professional Muay Thai fighters use it in Thailand. You will also using body weight exercise, plyometrics , medicine balls and resistant bands.
Motivate your children to stay physically fit with self-defense and discipline training from our kids’ classes. We keep them motivated to learn with our ranking system that uses armbands and belts to recognize achievement. Each belt and armband comes with a certificate recognized by the Thai government, Grand Master of Toddy, and the Muay Thai International Association.
